About Stephanie
I was born in New Jersey and grew up in an Italian and Spanish household. The past eight years have been a flurry of movement that have taken me from Boston to Los Angeles to Madrid and now to Fontainebleau, France. I’ve created this community to inspire other women to travel, but to also build a home for all of you too cosmopolitan to belong to just one place.

The meaning behind Sun&Sombra:
The name itself is based on a classic Spanish drink called sol y sombra, which translates to “sun and shade”. This cocktail is named for its mix of a light and dark liquor. Me, like many of you I’d guess, are mixes, too. Mixes of cultures, new experiences, different places. Sun&Sombra is a place where this mixture is embraced and understood. Welcome!
